A New Website for a Leader in Aluminium Roofline Systems

We’re pleased to be expanding our partnership with GMD Pennine as we begin work on a full refresh of their website. As an existing client, we already manage their Google Ads campaigns, helping them reach customers searching for aluminium rainwater systems and roof edge details. The website refresh is a natural next step, giving the platform an update that better supports both product sales and project enquiries.

Our relationship with GMD Pennine goes back several years. In 2018, we developed the company’s brand identity and built their original website, creating a digital platform that reflected their expertise.

Since then, the company has expanded its offering to better meet the needs of its customers. Alongside supplying bespoke manufactured aluminium products across the UK, it also provides a full turnkey manufacture and installation service throughout the North West. The new website will showcase these two key areas of the business and help drive growth in each.

As the business has grown, the way customers interact with the website has evolved as well. This refresh focuses on improving the site’s structure and navigation while supporting two clear customer journeys that sit at the heart of the business.

The first pathway focuses on eCommerce product sales, allowing their customers to browse and purchase supply-only products through a straightforward online experience. For customers who already know what they need, we’ll make the product discovery and purchasing process as simple and efficient as possible.

Alongside this sits the second journey, which supports customers looking for a full turnkey service covering manufacture, supply and installation within a 40-mile radius. These projects often involve more detailed requirements, so the refreshed website will turn visitors into customers by guiding them to request a free quote and start a conversation with the GMD Pennine team about their project.

Designing the website around these two distinct journeys makes it easier for visitors to understand their options and quickly navigate to the part of the site that’s relevant to them, whether that’s purchasing products online or requesting a quote. With our Google Ads team already driving targeted traffic to the website, improving the overall experience will play an important role in turning that interest into enquiries and sales.

It’s always rewarding to continue working with businesses as they grow, particularly when there’s already a history to build on. Having originally created the GMD Pennine brand and website back in 2018, alongside our ongoing work managing their Google Ads campaigns, this refresh is about making sure the website continues to support the business as it moves forward.
