We’re excited to share the details of our latest project for our long-standing client, Savoy Timber! We’ve enjoyed a long and successful partnership with the Savoy Timber team, now spanning over a decade.
The company serves DIY customers nationwide via its website and its four storefronts, offering a range of products, from garden decking and fencing to kitchen worktops and home decor products. Its team approached us looking to streamline their operations by integrating their Magento 2 solution with the store’s Spruce EPOS system (Electronic Point of Sale).
Before we got down to business, we sat down with the Savoy Timber team to establish the primary goals of this project – which included managing pricing controls, keeping track of stock, and centralising all store and web orders.
We then developed a custom module that seamlessly transfers data between the Magento2 solution and Spruce EPOS API. This integration allows store managers to efficiently manage orders for fulfilment from their store and provides the business with powerful reporting in real-time.
