21Digital designs a fresh new brand and website for the Manchester Stammering Community
We’re thrilled to be working on a stylish new brand and bespoke website for the Manchester Stammering Community. Once completed, this new website and brand will demonstrate the group’s identity, showcasing who they are and what they do, as well as how people can get involved.
Our latest project plays a vital role in their campaign to secure National Lottery funding so that they can continue their important work supporting and creating a comfortable setting for people with stammers to discuss their experiences freely.
Since 2007, the Manchester Stammering Community has been a cornerstone for people with stammers, with the group able to trace its roots back to the 1950s. Their biweekly meetings in Manchester provide an empowering space for people who stammer, as well as their families, and speech and language therapists – including trainees or those considering enrolling in a speech and language therapy course.
Manchester has long been a hub for speech therapy, from its specialised training programs at the universities to the impactful work of The Manchester Stammering Community. Former members even include some of the most well-known names in the worldwide stuttering community, such as Paul Brocklehurst, Richard Stephens, and Patrick Campbell!
Spaces created by organisations like the Manchester Stammering Community are essential, providing a place for people to connect, make friends, build confidence, and share their experiences. We’re proud to contribute to such a worthy cause, especially with our Creative Director Steven’s personal connection to the group.
