For more than half a century, Smiths Hire have supplied tools and equipment to DIY and trade customers, now operating from 16 depots in the North West and West Yorkshire. 21Digital was tasked with boosting Smiths Hire’s online presence and driving leads for their tool and plant hire depots and national powered access/plant re-hire services.

Our Search Marketing (SEO) team increased site traffic through a sustained local organic SEO campaign and targeted paid advertising (PPC), firmly putting Smiths Hire in front of potential customers actively searching for their ‘tool hire’ products.
Our search strategy primarily focused on local visibility, as customers typically expect to find a tool hire company near their own location.
