Rolling Out A Stronger Identity For International Tissue Company

International Tissue Company has been supplying the away-from-home market for more than 40 years. From hotels and hospitals to restaurants and workplace washrooms, their products are part of everyday life across the UK. Operating from a 105,000 sq ft facility in Blackburn and turning over £20m, they’ve built a serious manufacturing business backed by investment, experience and steady growth.
Over time, the operation evolved. New machinery was introduced. Capacity increased. The business strengthened. What hadn’t evolved at the same pace was the visual identity representing it. The challenge was not to reinvent ITC. It was to bring their brand up to the level they’re now operating at.
We carried out a full visual identity refresh, refining the logo and developing a more confident, modern design system around it. The new direction feels established and professional, while still grounded in the straightforward values that have shaped the business for decades. It reflects scale without losing substance.
From there, the focus shifted to consistency. A brand only works when it’s applied properly, so we ensured the refreshed identity carried across every touchpoint. Stationery, email signatures and internal documents were aligned under the new visual system. Product specification documents were restructured and redesigned so that technical information feels clear, considered and easy to navigate. Brochures and product references were updated to present the range in a way that feels cohesive and professional.


To support the refreshed identity, we carried out a full photoshoot within their Blackburn facility and produced a brand video that captures the reality of their operation. The scale of the machinery, the pace of production and the people behind it all now sit within a unified visual story that strengthens how the business presents itself.
Rather than a series of disconnected updates, this was about creating one clear, consistent identity and applying it properly across the business. The result is a brand that finally reflects the capability, investment and ambition behind International Tissue Company.
