Original Fabrics – the latest step in an enduring legacy
Here at 21Digital, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve recently finished the construction of a brand new website for Original Fabrics. The website is now live, and brings Original Fabric’s extensive range of mattress ticking fabrics to an online audience!
Using its valuable experience and unparalleled skill sets, the family-run business is committed to providing high quality, innovative fabrics and designs. Situated in the heart of the Lancashire Cotton Industry, Original Fabrics was established in 2004, and is run by Managing Director Simon Hargreaves, who has over 40 years of experience working in the textiles industry. Moreover, Simon comes from a long line of Hargreaves’ who have worked in the textile industry for generations. If you’re familiar with this industry, the name Hargreaves may be known to you, as James Hargreaves was the man who invented the Spinning Jenny back in 1764! So we were keen on communicating that heritage and legacy with the design of the website.
Simon had this to say on the website we built: “we’re thrilled to be bringing our vast range of mattress ticking fabrics and expertise online, and we couldn’t be more thankful to 21Digital for giving us the platform to do it”. The website was created by our skilled team of developers using WordPress, and the finished design of the site is sleek and modern, giving it a contemporary feel.
