Write On Cue – Meet Our New Copywriter Emma!
If you’ve been keeping up with all things 21Digital, you’ll know that we’ve had a few fresh faces in recent months. Emma joined us at the end of last year as our new Junior Copywriter, and she’s been settling in nicely ever since. A few months down the line, she’s fully embedded in the content team and getting stuck into all things blogs, website content and social media.
Writing’s always been her thing. Before joining us, Emma worked in CV writing, helping people shape their experience into something clear and compelling. From there, she moved into broader content and copywriting work, building her confidence across different formats and audiences.
She also studied English Literature with Creative Writing at Lancaster University, building a strong foundation in storytelling, structure and style. The degree gave her space to experiment with different techniques, but more importantly, it reinforced what she already enjoyed doing – engaging people and sparking their interest through writing.
That’s exactly why copywriting appealed to her. The idea of creating content that connects with real people, whether that’s through a blog, a landing page or a social post, is what drew her towards digital marketing in the first place.
Since joining us at 21Digital, Emma’s been learning how content fits into the bigger picture. Agency life means switching between industries, tones and objectives regularly, and she’s taken it all in her stride. From longer-form blogs to tightening up website copy and crafting social captions, she’s building her skills across the board and growing in confidence with every brief.
Outside of work, the creativity continues. She enjoys doing arts and crafts (in her own words: “badly”), and she’s known for disappearing down completely random history rabbit holes just because something’s caught her attention. That curiosity definitely helps when it comes to writing – especially when a brief calls for a bit of unexpected research!
Speaking about joining 21Digital, Emma said:

Welcome aboard Emma! It’s been great watching her find her feet over the past few months, get to know the team and fully immerse herself in agency life. She’s hit the ground running, and we’re looking forward to seeing her continue to grow and put her own stamp on the content we create. Safe to say, she’s been the write addition to the team!
