Over the last month, Twentyone has been working with retail branding experts Sign Options to produce an attractive new website for the company.
The company’s original site dated back to 2009 and was definitely ready for a revamp. The navigation was small and squashed up, while dated stock imagery dominated the home-page. Project galleries were squashed at the bottom of the portfolio pages, meaning that Sign Options skills were shoved right out of sight.
Sign Options approached Twentyone Digital agency looking for a website that would really show off their services. The emphasis was on bigger, better and clearer, so that customers could use the site almost like an online brochure.
Instead of featuring standard-sized images, the new website needed to be visually oriented – ready to inspire potential customers with the wide range of signage projects that Sign Options have taken from concept to completion.
Led by our Creative Director Steven Taylor, the team at Twentyone transformed the website from dull and uninspiring to sleek and stylish.
A clean white background with charcoal header area and overlay is livened up with splashes of vibrant lime green – enough to bring style to the site without overpowering the high quality photography that now takes centre stage.
Navigating the site is simple, with eye-catching images linking straight from the home-page to the company’s portfolio, while the magazine-style layout draws the eye down and across to clear link areas, marking the way to Sign Options’s projects, social media feeds and blog.
On the portfolio pages, eye-catching banner images and quirky pop-up galleries offer visitors a real insight into every aspect of the company’s products, while clear, concise content lays out the finer details.
“Sign Options are a company that offer their customers everything from concept to creation, and we did the same when it came to their website.
“We listened to what they really needed – a website that would inspire and inform the wide variety of customers they cater for – and came up with something attractive and intuitive.
“Creating a well-designed website that catches the eye, has good functionality and manageability, and features loads of multimedia content without looking crowded is no mean feat, but we achieved a really successful balance.”
Built on WordPress, the website will be easy for the team at Sign Options to amend and update as they complete more projects. Future customers will now be able to see exactly what Sign Options could achieve for them as soon as they land on the website, and the contact areas of the site are clearly highlighted.
As for Sign Options, they couldn’t be happier with the new website: it’s clean, attention-grabbing and ‘bang on brief’!
