We’re finalists in 2019’s Red Rose Awards!
I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve been shortlisted as finalists in Lancashire’s Red Rose Awards of 2019! In fact, 21Digital has actually been shortlisted for two awards; the Digital Business Award and the Small Business Award.
Now, the Red Rose Awards are far from our first awards – in fact, we’ve got several under our belts, the most recent being our Downtown in Business Award in the summer of last year. But becoming finalists for the RR19 is especially important to us here at 21Digital because they are so very ‘us’.
As you might expect, the Red Rose Awards are focused solely on businesses in and around Lancashire, and they’re some of the most prestigious in the county. They’re designed to highlight the very best of businesses in the region, and they’re very popular, too! This year, hundreds of entrants have been whittled down to just six for each category. (So all things considered, we’ve done very well already!)
At 21Digital we count ourselves first and foremost as a Lancashire agency, and it’s a very strong part of our company identity. Almost all of us are from the local area, and we make sure to stay active in the local community. A big part of the way we’ve been doing that recently is through training; specifically, collaborating with colleges in Blackburn and Burnley, engaging in the many apprentice schemes they have to offer. We currently have three very talented apprentices with us, all from the local area, and they’re already doing some fantastic work across a variety of digital disciplines.
Their ongoing training is a major focus of ours for the rest of 2019, which follows on from a particularly heavy year for us. We rebranded, moved into new premises, and almost doubled the size of our team from 7 to 13. Winning an accolade from the Red Rose Awards would be a brilliant way to continue our great start to the year, but either way, let me assure you that we’ve still got lots planned to help us reach new heights in 2019, bringing our clients ever more success on their commercial campaigns.

Sam Fletcher is 21Digital’s Managing Director, responsible for overseeing all strategic digital marketing, with a personal specialism in PPC (Google AdWords). A keen mountain biker and motoring enthusiast, he has a lifelong dual passion for both business and design, which he now uses to come up with bespoke, creative marketing campaigns.
