21Digital appoints new Graphic and Web Designer
2014 has been a great year for 21 Digital, we’ve had a real flurry of fantastic work come in and have been involved in some great projects. With a growing workload came the need to expand our team, so in June this year we set out to find a new Web Design intern.
A vibrant opportunity
Our internships are few and far between so we were delighted to welcome Ryan Coe on board earlier this year. Ryan was tasked with keeping things fresh on our growing portfolio of websites as well as coding html email templates. Throughout his internship he was able to get involved in some exciting areas in the creative industry. These included:
• Brainstorming and coming up with creative ideas for new projects
• Assisting in designing sample page layouts for websites
• Assisting in designing graphics, transition animations and icons
• Coding HTML email templates
• Coding HTML web pages
• Producing and designing newsletters
We knew from the moment we met Ryan in his initial interview that he was something special. As expected, he fit right into the 21 Digital digital marketing team and went above on beyond on all the tasks he got involved in. By the end of the internship he was coming up with and producing creative solutions for a number of our clients; helping to produce fantastic client websites; coding proficiently in HTML and CSS; and demonstrating impressive research skills to aid creative projects.
From intern to employee
Of course, following his success, we had to offer Ryan Coe a full time permanent job as our newest in house Web Designer. He joins us here at 21 Digital after completing a BA HONS in Graphic Design Communication at Salford University and completing our internship.
Commenting on Ryan’s internship, Steven Taylor said:
“Ryan Coe has joined the agency after successfully completing our in-house web design internship.
“He impressed the team with his enthusiasm, creativity and hard work ethic. It’s great to have him on board, the clients absolutely love his work”
Ryan Coe adds:
“The internship was a great way to get my foot on the ladder in the creative industry. 21 Digital were incredibly supportive and I learnt a lot during my first few weeks with the company.
“I’m thrilled to have been offered a permanent position with 21 Digital and can’t wait for all the upcoming projects in the pipeline.”
