Twentyone has been transforming another website this month – we worked with power distro and extension box manufacturer, Rubber Box Co, to bring their website right up to date.
We first designed Rubber Box Co’s website in 2003, bringing the company online and within easy reach of its clients worldwide. As the company supplies events and organisations in over 30 countries, it’s always been important to put across a sleek, professional image.
As the company grew and progressed, they enlisted our help on a website redesign in 2008, bringing in more of their products and optimising the site for the latest search engine requirements.
No surprise, then, that Rubber Box Co have been back in touch, this time seeking a website that fulfils all the requirements for internet users who are browsing on their phones.
During this third re-design, our focus was on adapting the site to make it suitable for mobile and tablet users. Rubber Box Co also wanted to make the site more image-focused, with larger photographs of their products to appeal to customers and give a clearer view of the quality products available.
In addition to the new site design, the company has also invested in an online brochure, which mirrors the site’s design and has already attracted 1737 impressions since its launch last month.
Better still: the overall bounce rate on the site – the number of people who click straight off the site – has dropped significantly, from 31.4% to an impressive 24.8%. Over 75% of visitors to the site now browse more than one page, giving Rubber Box Co the best possible chance of attracting new and repeat customers
