Who:
Based in the traditional heartland of Britain’s textile industry, Acorn Fabrics is bringing more than a touch of dynamism back to this historic area of Lancashire, with its vistas of Victorian mills and rugged scenery. In fact the Chatburn family, proprietors of Acorn Fabrics, can point to a tradition in textiles dating back more than one hundred years and spanning four generations.
The Brief:
The run up to Christmas and the festive period as a whole was historically the fabric retailers quietest and most difficult trading period. They approached 21 Digital and tasked us to tackle this and come up with a campaign that would boost sales and generate interest from its diverse customer base.
What We Did:
We chose not to re-invent the wheel …just the advent calendar. Our creative team came up with a fab’ric’ advent calendar featuring 24 carefully crafted e-shots bringing Acorn Fabrics customers ‘a deal a day’ throughout the festive period. Photography, design and coding of the 24 responsive html newsletters where all wrapped up nicely.
The Result:
190% increase in sales!
