A hat trick of nominations at the Hive Business Awards!
We’re thrilled to announce we’ve now been shortlisted for three awards in the Hive Business Awards, which were created to recognise outstanding businesses and individuals in Blackburn and Darwen.
What has 21Digital been shortlisted for?
The three awards we’re in the running for are: the Buzz Award, the Growth Business Award, and the Hive Small Business of the Year. The Buzz Award is one of the most highly coveted, awarded to businesses who have been recognised as making a ‘buzz’ in the local community. Plus, our recent expansion into new premises (and going from 7 to 13 employees in the course of just 12 months) makes us strong contenders for the Growth Business Award. Finally, the Hive Small Business Award is awarded to the best business with between 11 to 25 employees.
Our Managing Director Sam Fletcher was interviewed by the judges on the 14th of May, so now we’re just waiting for the results and looking forward to another fantastic evening at King George’s Hall!
At 21Digital we pride ourselves on being a Lancashire business through and through, and almost all of us are from the local area. It’s just part of the reason why these sorts of awards are hugely important to us, and regardless of whether or not we win, we’re so proud to count ourselves among Lancashire’s thriving business community.
What are the Hive Awards?
If you’re a regular follower of our blog, you may remember that we’ve actually sponsored one of the Hive Awards last year – specifically, the Creative & Digital Award for 2018. The Hive Blackburn and Darwen Business Awards have only been going a few years now, and were established to celebrate and reward the outstanding work of businesses and individuals across the Blackburn and Darwen area. There are 22 total categories – collectively spanning a whole range of different sectors – which are judged by a panel made up of internal and external representatives.
This year’s Hive Award ceremony will take place at King George’s Hall on the 27th of June, where the winners will be revealed. Good luck to all our fellow businesses and local professionals – and as for our customers, we’ll let you know how it goes!
