We’ve always been focused on encouraging and developing local talent here at 21Digital, so 2018 saw us introduce three new digital apprentices to our team.
As a local digital agency, we’ve always been committed to encouraging and developing homegrown talent here at 21Digital. 2018 was a landmark year for us, as we achieved a huge raft of new account wins, refreshed our image with a top-to-bottom rebrand, and even moved into a newer, more expansive studio just across the road. The move was a big step for us, partially prompted by the steady growth of our team; we recently brought on three new apprentices, bringing our team to thirteen. We thought we’d take a second to introduce you!
Say hello to the team
Each of our new apprentices will be developing expertise within one of our core digital services – Search, Social and Web – and building on their existing knowledge and experience as they strive towards our collective aim of bringing our customers real, tangible results and measurable returns on their digital campaigns.
Darwen-based Karl Chelton has been appointed to the technical team as a level 4 apprentice developer, while Imogen Campbell from Accrington has come on board as a level 4 social media apprentice. Finally Declan Porter, from Clitheroe, joins our search team as an SEO/PPC (search engine optimisation/pay per click) level 3 apprentice. All three are working on real customer campaigns, often demonstrating their own initiative by coming up with creative ideas to drive these campaigns forward, so that they’re always providing our clients with the best possible return on investment.
We’re very proud to provide an apprentice scheme to help younger starters get a foothold in the ever burgeoning digital marketing industry. With the sector permanently evolving at such a fast pace, an apprenticeship provides training on the job, right at the coal face, evolving into skills for life. Karl, Imogen and Declan are all very welcome members of our team, and we’re looking forward to seeing them further develop their skills as they provide fantastic support for the wider digital team and our clients, especially as we begin the New Year by being bigger, better and more ambitious than ever!
