21Digital fuels expansion with six websites for Euro Garages
With its worldwide headquarters in Blackburn, in less than 20 years EG Group found international success, and today is one of the UK’s leading petrol forecourt retail convenience operators. It currently employs over 30,000 people, working in about 5200 sites across Europe, Australia and the USA.
Recently, the Turkey Hill, Loaf ‘N Jug, Kwik Shop, Tom Thumb, Quik Stop and MinitMart brands were acquired in a $2.15 billion deal. The transaction covered 762 US forecourt convenience sites, and involved EG Group establishing North American headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio – it now continues to operate stores under the company’s established brands.
As of May 2019, our team have now designed, developed and launched all six websites, which are all maintained from a single user friendly content management system. We’re now set to commence phase two of the project, which will see us develop a custom Google Map API to help customers easily find their nearest Euro Garages store.
