About CLAPA

Each year, one in 1200 babies in the UK are born with a cleft lip and/or palate, a lifelong condition which impacts everyone differently.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is a 20,000-strong community of parents, patients, healthcare professionals and more, who are dedicated to improving the lives of those born with a cleft, providing practical support and knowledge for these people and their families.

As the Managing Director of 21Digital, personally CLAPA is a cause very close to my heart. My beautiful daughter, Summer Betsy, was born with a wide unilateral cleft lip and cleft palate in 2018, so to help raise awareness and money for CLAPA, we’ll be rowing the length of the Leeds-Liverpool canal, which is 127 miles, over 21 working days on a rowing machine at our Blackburn studio.

We aim to complete six miles each day and will be inviting our clients and local businesses to join us along the way. Friday 31st May will be the grand finale event where we’ll be throwing a party to celebrate with our sponsors and colleagues.

Any support you can provide, whether you want to donate or even do a bit of rowing, will be very gratefully received. Thank you so much for your support!

Managing Director of 21Digital
